Freight Handling
To put the HC’s metro system to optimum use, the middle section of each train will be a cargo hold for transporting bulk freight. This will replace the need of above ground trucks used in various areas such as: shipment of raw materials and finished goods, large packages, (seal-container) waste dumpster disposal, etcs. The elimination of above head trucks will greater reduce nosie pollution and structural fatigue. It will also decrease the need of transportable fuel for these vehicles. This aspect of the HC’s metro system has the equivalent of
midsize
(i.e.,
m
( ft)-long) trucks.
