To provide an adequate root base for the full growth of trees, their roots will be planted in large subsurface bins which will be suspended to the underside of the HC platforms. The platforms will have an expandable surface opening to allow the tree to project through and allow the trunk to enlarge itself as it needs to over time. The top area of the bins will be reinforced to prevent the tree from toppling over during high winds. This reinforcements will actually make these trees more "topple/uproot" resistant than natural land based trees.
